Epperstone and Epperstone Village Hall 

Welcome to Epperstone Website. This website provides information about the Parish Council and its activities. It also provides information about our village and our Village Hall. Please note our village website (www.epperstone.info). is no longer active.

Epperstone is a small conservation village between Nottingham and the minster town of Southwell.  In the 2021 census the village population was recorded as 600.  Nottingham is approximately nine miles away and has an excellent range of shopping and recreational facilities, including a shopping mall, an ice rink, theatres and a wide range of restaurants.

The nearest primary school in the area is in the village of Lowdham, about 1 mile away, and Colonel Frank Seely secondary school  is in Calverton about 1 and a half miles away. As Epperstone is in the catchment area for these schools, both offer school bus transport. There are other out-of-catchment primary schools in the nearby villages of Calverton and Woodborough, and the Minster Secondary School is in Southwell which is about 7 miles away. 

There is a railway station in the nearby village of Lowdham which links to Lincoln and Nottingham, the M1 is approximately seventeen miles away. and East Midlands airport is approximately 25 miles away.

Directions from Nottingham to Epperstone
Proceed out of Nottingham in a north easterly direction towards Southwell on the A612. Continue to the roundabout at Lowdham and take the first exit onto the A6097 to Doncaster. Proceed for approximately 2 miles and turn right opposite the garage on the left. The turning is signposted Epperstone. Proceed along Lowdham Road to the T - junction. Main Street is to the left and Gonalston Lane to the right.
